Solved Banned from Twitter for logging in TLW

"Your account has been locked. Your account appears to have exhibited automated behavior"

"You can no longer send messages to this person." (in messages options to any person ever)

It's like an invisible robot Stasi... I think more and more stuff on the internet is ran by by algorithms and wonky artificial intelligences to cut employee costs ugh :(

Did you start getting these messages after sending anything from TLW to Twitter? Or using the login via Twitter?

Didn't send anything only logged on, in the last screenshot there is the history of the only things I visited on Twitter before it banned :( Before the highlighted FAQ bit (which is where I clicked on the error message Twitter gave when I was trying to reply to a DM - before I realised in fact it was my whole account that was banned)

As this is the first I've heard of this and have found no errors on the boards here or in the Twitter app side. I've rebuilt the Twitter dev app and have assigned no keys for the Twitter integration.

If others have come across this issue please let me know ASAP. For you Kisikillillake have you had your account reopened? Has Twitter given you any more information in why your account was locked, beyond the boiler plate message you had screenshot?

The only thing that the login with Twitter process does is use your Twitter account to create and log into TLW with those credentials. Twitter passes to TLW an encrypted hash of that info to the TLW dev app that we have behind the scenes. That's all it does.

I replied back to the email they sent me (2 days ago now) (" Your account, @Kis1k1ll1llake, appears to have exhibited automated behavior that violates the Twitter Rules: https://support.twitter.com/articles/18311 ") pointing out there is no possible way I could be doing "automated behaviour" I barely even used Twitter that day, and they haven't replied to me :(

Hello,

Your account appeared to have exhibited automated behavior that violates the Twitter Rules: https://support.twitter.com/articles/18311-the-twitter-rules

Twitter has automated systems that find and remove automated spam accounts in bulk. Unfortunately, it looks like your account got caught up in one of these spam groups by mistake.

Your account is now unlocked, sorry for the inconvenience.

Please do not respond to this email as replies will not be monitored.

^
I hate the whole thing of how it's phrased just right to slide past lying by saying"replies will not be monitored" implying that it's a one-way email and never goes through to anyone, but it isn't: When you get a reply back to your appeal from the webform it comes with a ref# and says "please reply to this message and provide us with specific details of the problem you're experiencing." It IS an email that accepts replies but they're *choosing* not to while trying to give the impression it's "not monitored" ugh.

They just shut down the line of communication with no appeal to reply back (e.g. to ask what the supposed "automated behaviour" actually was, or why I got suspended for no apparent reason before, the whole thing's deliberately set up to make them unquestionable >:|
