What the title says. A button / link you can click when viewing a (Sub)Forum to mark all unread threads read.

You can visit the forum or subforum you wish to mark as read and click on "Mark Forums Read" link in the top

A tooltip will appear asking you to confirm whether to mark that particular section or all sections for marking.
