Allison walks towards the glass walls where the opened entryway provided access further into the HQ. Noticing the two heavily armed guards standing on either side in their sharply pressed blue uniforms and wearing gasmasks.
The uneasiness of the situation was beginning to creep into her thoughts. She looked back to see where the large guy in glasses had gone and noticing his absence. Stepping past the threshold she waved to the two guards “So? Someone going to take me to your leader?” The sharp pain of a dart at the back of her neck “What the fuck.” She stumbled forward as the drugs quickly worked in taking her out.
Four Hours Later
Jerking awake Allison found she was handcuffed with her hands behind her back. Sitting in a chair she looked around. The room was spartan save for a single desk before her. The rather large monitor taking up most of the wall behind it had a Q&A logo that rotated on a loop. “Hello!” she called out into the empty room “Yeah, cool trick but either let me go or I’m going to own this precinct.” Struggling with the handcuffs, the room echoed with the clanging of the steel bracelets against the chair “Come on assholes, let’s get this good cop, bad cop shit over with.”
The sound of a recessed door opening, suddenly brought Allison’s attention over as a very serious looking blond woman walked in. Her heels echoed in the room as she quickly made her way to the desk. Setting a navy blue folder on the desk. The embossed emblem of a triangle with an eye in the middle stood out to Allison. The woman stared to her, the uneasiness rising even more so within Allison. “Do I have something in my teeth, you know you’re supposed to read me my rights before arresting people.” Allison leaned back in the chair as best as she could.
“Allison Carpenter, born September 4th 1998 to Marcy Carpenter and Jacob Carpenter. Countless misdemeanor charges beginning at the age of 12. Served one year in NYC Department of Juvenile Justice for being charged with eight counts of grand theft auto four years ago. Currently on probation for possession of marijuana with the intent of distribution.” When the woman began to speak the large monitor came to life. A slideshow of her arrest records and various family photos played out. “I clearly told the judge that wasn’t my weed.” she interrupted the woman. Without skipping a beat she continued “For whatever reason you being here, someone has decided to bring you into the fold. My report in your well being right now is to decide in what we should do with you. As you posses no useable skills beside the basis of a common criminal. Your being in the presence of one of our agents within the field bares no marks of positive notion in the report as well.”
She walked around to the front of the desk, her arms crossed behind her back as she stared down to Allison “It has been reported you saw this agent remove the presence of several people in the establishment in which you worked. It also was reported you spotting the way in which the agent did this. It falls onto myself to inform you that the information told to you about certain, aspects of our world to be true.”
Allison listened to her, the realization of what Jericho told her sinking in “So, what he said was true and that it’s true?”
“Your world is about to taken down to its basic components. Everything you’ve heard is true. There is more to the world than you would have thought.” Opening the folder she removes a piece of paper. “You have a choice of two options. One is to sign this piece of paper and to enter a new life within the Illuminati. Two is to refuse and you cease to exist.”
Thinking for a moment and the seriousness of the woman’s tone brought an added weight to everything “Well, I do like to keep breathing so, where do I sign?” The serious looking woman left the paper on the desk “You made the best choice in your circumstance.” Picking up the folder she turned to walk out. The monitor returned back to the rotating Q&A logo leaving Allison alone. “Hey! You can’t leave me in here!” Her vision began to blur “What the fu..” her head slumped forward, unconscious.
