Lower Chat Bar Issues

Recently been made aware in that the bottom chat bar is causing some members problems with never ending notifications. Have been able to duplicate the problem and going to be working on a fix to get this sorted very soon.

The problem stems from someone receiving an alert in which they've received a new chat message via the lower chat bar.

One work around is to right click on the notification and disable notifications from The Lower World. This should work in Chrome and Firefox as well.

Another option is to turn off Chat Sounds by clicking on the bar below where it says "Chat" click on the gear icon and un ticking "Chat Sounds"

Going to leave this issue open for now. The underlying software has been updated but unfortunately the problems with looping notifications are still persisting. At this time we can only suggest disabling browser notifications along with unchecking the chat sounds option within the options as shown above.

We're dedicated in narrowing down the problem and getting it fixed. The chat bar still functions as intended.

So far with chat sounds on you will only hear a single tone when receiving a new message. As I'm moving this more towards a fixed solution would like to know if anyone is having issues with it still. Also would like to know if you have not been having issues and reporting that it is working as intended.
