Maureen "Leagan" Winchester

NOTE: This is a work in progress.

Maureen was stung two days into her residency at Barts, and recruited into the Secret World shortly thereafter. The steep demands the Illuminati have made on her time since then have precluded a career in Medicine, and while being afforded the opportunity to help save the world every so often keeps Maureen from resenting her new life, more quiet moments tend to fill themselves with regrets about losing the old one. (Also cannabis.)

Maureen’s regrets tend to manifest as weariness. Her fear (from experience) of painful death manifests as sarcasm. As a result, her peers in the Illuminati believe her to be cynical. But Maureen is not a cynic. After three years in the Illuminati, she still revels the wonders to which the Secret World exposes her. But cynicism is always in vogue in the Secret World—especially in the Illuminati—and so Maureen tends not to share the fact that every time she steps into Agatha, she still stops to smell the oil and honey.
