The Latest Developments in Paris
Hello, agents. It seems you have all been productive in Paris. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but... good job, all. We are on the track for peace.
A few administrative notes.
1. Arnaud Blanchette is refusing interviews and cancelling many of his public engagements. His family are preparing to change quarters to their country home - for his wife’s delicate health, he claims. The timing of this so soon after he was called upon by his fellow Templar to take up the Crown Office position he once had is…interesting. His staff have mentioned a ‘visit from the Archon’ that may have changed his mind. Look into this.
2. Halette Narcisse has archived and stored a great many relics collected from the Paris Underground. She invites relic hunters to examine the relics in a safe environment and divine whatever knowledge they can. She assures concerned Agents that there’s a very happy chance absolutely nothing will go wrong. One relic, known as The Egg, is currently in the custody of Klaus von Richter. His current location is unknown.
3. We understand the Healing House Raid was a complete and total success. We’d like to thank every agent who participated in the raid. Congratulations. Venice has prepared interrogations for the captured staff - and the prisoners of the dark hospital.
4. The Archon Nicodemus has been confirmed as the necromancer behind the dead Templars in the city. This “Melanie” seems to be a woman groomed to be his face - as his own is mangled beyond repair. The Archons seems to be some ancient order, trying to enforce their own morals. This Nicodemus - the Nicodemus from biblical lore - has been the puppetmaster behind Paris. He must be found. And he must be stopped.
All of Paris depends on your actions from here on out, agents. A new leader for the city must be found. Nicodemus and Melanie must be stopped. And innocent lives must be saved.
I expect this to be your top priority.
