Well hello there

Hey. This is Lakaz here, brand new to "Forum roleplay", but somewhat eager to learn the ropes and join in.
Okay, i say new... i took part in a little on the WoW forums, but that was about five years ago, i hardly remember any of it, and i doubt it was as structured as this seems to be
(If anybody's been on said forums around Wrath, i ran "The scourge experiment" and took part in "The Moonblade Tournament". I was the Dwarf with the rifle).
Truth be told, i love TSW, but i can never find any rp'ers in game. Ever. I've seen the Enjin forums, various other sites... ANd can rarely attend events due to the fact they all seem to be on american time zones... and I'm a Brit >.> So this is my chance to get some TSW RP done despite my geographical locations.
Any reccomendations on where to start joining in? I have ideas for a character and will post up a dossier for her soon enough (Sidebar: Can you make characters for factions other than the one you put in acc creation, 'cause i've a great idea for a templar...)

I don't have any experience with wow or even rp there, started in CoH and moved to TSW and SWTOR after the closure.

For a lot of European players I believe there is a group that does gathered rp at the hotel in Seoul. I'll have to look these things up and link them here.

Actually you can here. You can create any character in any faction, even independent ones. In game you can only choose one of the three.

Awesome about the choices of factions- and in regards to the hotel in Seoul. I'll have to look into that.
Anyway, i created my first character on the showcase. Any thoughts on improvement before i use her in actual RP (Or anything i did wrong?) I'm less then certain about the idea of her (Kind of) fighting off a demon at such a young age, even if she did basically contain it then run. Thinking of editing in something else to accomplish the same feeling of "She has occult knowledge, but some of it's inaccurate"

Can see that the character is perfectly suited to use magic and research more than battling on the front lines of the secret war. A lot of people tend to lean more to the actiony types, getting their hands dirty as it were. Not going to say that anything is wrong, in fact, you can role play your character in any way that you enjoy. There isn't a right or wrong way.

There is a Monday RP event every week at the Tabula Rasa in London at 9 PM CET / 8 PM GMT that's scheduled for many European players.

I made her with that in mind, yeah, i knew actiony roles would be preferred and wanted to provide something a bit different. Of course, she still has potential to be useful in a fight, and to get into them as well. The allure of knowledge can take you to dangerous places and although she'd be useless alone, she can likely recall and call out the weaknesses of any monsters (Of of human biology or types of magic caster) for her more combat-capable allies to exploit. A support character, if you will.
