Avery "Avellera" Hughes

Glamoured:
Avery appears to be a relatively normal young woman in her early twenties. She is of below-average height, oftentimes having to incline her head slightly in order to look others in the eyes, and has the well-toned build of an avid swimmer. Scattered across her lightly tanned face and body are a smattering of freckles, many of which congregate her gentle smile.

Her long, wavy, black hair is often combed back ever so slightly so that it rests just over her ears and runs down the back of her slender neck. This also keeps her hair, for the most part, out of her dark green eyes which almost always have a kindhearted and caring look to them.

Ever since coming to London and her rebirth as one of the Fae, Avery has acquired quite the taste for long, flowing, summer gowns, skirts, and blouses of bright greens, yellows, and oranges; much preferring the comfort and freedom of these clothes to that of business attire or common street-wear. She never wears anything on her feet.

Unglamoured:
Avery's skin is a pale shade of green and her freckles have been replaced with small, reflective scales which sparkle with the light of her surroundings. Her hair now seems to float in the air behind her as if it were submerged beneath the water whilst a set of driftwood antlers grow atop her head. Short strands of light-green seaweed appear to adorn her locks and help to cover her fanned ears which, on occasion, will twitch/perk-up at unheard sounds.

She now wears a long skirt which flows around her feet and appears to be composed of burnt-orange and green scales with bio-luminous yellow scales pulsing down its sides. She also adorns a dark-green blouse and a light-green, see-through shawl is wrapped across her shoulders and trails down her slender arms.

Whilst in the water, Avery's skirt wraps about her legs to form a long fish-like tail with scales identical to those of the skirt on land and silken fins at her sides.

Initial Report
"My friends tell me that they have had their wills gifted to them and they tell me all about what they were made to do. Some of them scare me and I lock them in the basement but most of them are really nice. They don't breathe like we do but I think they're alive." - Avery Thiews, age 13

Avery Rebecca Thiews was born the only daughter of John and Rachel Thiews on November 2nd, 1992, in the small town of Harbor Springs Michigan with the blood of both a human and a nixie coursing through her veins. After some investigation, we have concluded that Ms. Thiews’ water-Fae heritage seems to have sprung up from a short-lived affair between her human grandfather(1) and her estranged grandmother(2). It is unclear at this time whether the girl's parents knew of their daughter's bloodline at the time of her birth but, thanks to information recently revealed on Ms. Thiews’ Twitter page, it seems as if they were at least partially aware of the possibility but chose to keep it a secret.

Medical records show that at age 11, Ms. Thiews was admitted into the Northern Michigan Regional Hospital after succumbing to the shock caused by a vast number of bee-stings(3) she had received during a hiking trip with her father(4). Whilst she did recover from the stings, we are of the opinion that she may have been affected by the venom as, in the following years, she was taken to a wide-variety of counselors and therapists by her parents regarding her “forming friendships and speaking with inanimate objects as of late.” From what we have been able discern from the notes taken during these sessions, it is possible that Ms. Thiews is capable of locating and communicating with artifacts and other objects of power. It is either this or the animatic venom has driven her mad; the odds of both outcomes appear equally likely at this juncture.

We recommend the acquisition of Ms. Thiews for the purposes of further study. Death in the field is likely but her body could be valuable for post-mortem experimentation.

(1) In-depth analyses of the exhumed corpse have confirmed that one Albert Thiews was indeed human.

(2) Exact fate and location are unknown at this time. Possible link to sightings of a "mermaid" in Lake Michigan require further investigation.

(3) Exact estimate of number seem to vary but range from the upper 80's to the lower 90's.

(4) Confirmed presence of a portal in the region listed by medical reports also lends credence to theories that posit the stings were caused by Agarthan Bees. Dissection and medical examination of Ms. Thiews would be required for confirmation.

Formal Request For Medical Processing
It is recommended Ms. Thiews be removed from service after four months of successful active fieldwork for the purposes of postmortem medical examination. It is clear to us that her ability, while having proven useful during her employment, may be replicable in future employees given proper treatment. Our research and development group is eager to get started on processing Ms. Thiews and so, given approval, we shall immediately send a team along to collect her.

Threat Assessment
After escaping from Illuminati agents on multiple occasions and having her tracking chip removed, Ms. Avery "Avellera" Thiews has been deemed a minor threat to company secrets and security.

Avoid confrontation within or nearby bodies of water as, after learning of and accepting her bloodline, Ms. Thiews has obtained great prowess in the art of Hydromancy and Glamours. Past reports on Nixie-kind also show that their scales are quite resilient, that they are phenomenal swimmers, and that their tails are both powerful and flexible enough to make them a lethal weapon. If any area is to be targeted, aim for the gills set into the sides of Ms. Thiews' chest for those are said to be the most vulnerable parts of a Nixie's body.

Ms. Thiews should not be considered an active target unless otherwise stated or a flawless death can be executed. She still appears to be quite docile and has come under the protection of the Faerie Court of Spring, however, so be fully aware of the repercussions if you were to take action.
