Major updates are done! We've squashed the nastier bugs, but there are probably a few smaller ones still scurrying about. Send us a DM on Twitter (@lowerworldtsw) or to @Custodian/@Voltigeur on this site if you catch one!
We'll be tweaking the site's appearance and updating guides as the month goes on. :)
"It all sucks but we're gonna get her. She'll be back safe and then she, the victim of this story, can decide what'll be done to Mr. Doyle. It's the easiest way. Meanwhile, Doyle will rot with whomever."
Kate stands up, knocking her chair back. "Templar mission, Templar personnel, Templar fucking traitor." She starts pointing, raising her voice. "You have no jurisdiction and no fucking right to take our people."
"I didn't. A Templar did." Sarah remains seated, staring at Kate. "Are you going to remain professional enough to rescue your comrade so she can decide what happens, or is there going to be a problem?"
"Then take him, Kate. Take the whelp and do whatever. You have the veto power. I am not fighting against you BUT it's in Cass' best interests that she sees him to the end herself." Terry raises his voice and then sighs. "It'd be best for her. For Derek here as well. We're just here to help her escape."
Ash pushes her way into the room--struggling with the door until she puts her shoulder into forcing it open. "Fuck, that's a heavy door..." One she steps in, letting the door close by itself behind her, she points at the group assembled with a hand holding a phone. "...Okay, uhm... I don't know most of you, but I'm Ash, hi, and I'm... well, gonna be hacking their computer while you're rescuing Cass. Just want some input, I can do one of two things. Already talked to Jericho, but I can either make it dump all its data out for me, or I can hijack all its processes for something pointless. What do people think?"
"Can it at least be over for now? Maybe for a little while? A hiatus on petty rev- Sorry. Kate, you're probably correct, but can this please, please wait?"
Terry nods at the newcomer. "Well, for that, we'd need to figure out what kind of computer systems they have, what they can be used for.. that such. The small things." Terry raises a tired smile and shrugs.
"I don't know much 'bout computers, sorry. Not enough for something like this." He hesitates, then sighs. "We do need to be careful 'bout brainwashing. I fuckin' hate to say it, but... I heard her. Through one of the guard's comm units. Repeating: "I am a lion of the Templars, I will not falter." He frowns. "Only so long a woman can say that and not go mad, y'know? When you're repeating the mantra to yourself, that usually means clock is ticking."
Kate still looks pissed off and her words are clipped, but she's focused once more on the business at hand. "We know exactly where she's being held. As soon as we know what resources we can pool and who can do what without relying on anima then we can make a plan."
