Major updates are done! We've squashed the nastier bugs, but there are probably a few smaller ones still scurrying about. Send us a DM on Twitter (@lowerworldtsw) or to @Custodian/@Voltigeur on this site if you catch one!
We'll be tweaking the site's appearance and updating guides as the month goes on. :)
TSW has definitely monopolized a lot of my gaming time over the past year. I used to be fairly balanced between consoles for more mainstream pieces (Dishonored, Mass Effect, Skyrim etc) and a PC for all sorts of narrative indies (Gone Home, Dear Esther, Broken Age, The Path, Bientot L'ete), though now I'm almost entirely PC and have barely taken notice of the latest generation of consoles at all.
TSW is also probably the first MMO I've ever truly become invested in! I used to be -cripplingly- shy of MMOs in the past. Pigeonholed into being a healer for my more outgoing friends over the years in games like Ragnarok Online. It was still the same way to an extent, joining TSW in dimension Daemon with no idea nor interest in RP (if I had even known it existed, I was 99.9% PvE solo)...but it took some warming up to the RP taking place out-of-game to eventually make the switch to Arcadia, and it's been pretty good ever since.
TSW, though that is on hold until I'll have a proper internet connection again, so I'm limited to text-only rp for the time being. As for other games...
I'm in a middle of a colossal nostalgia trip involving the first two parts of Fallout, the entire Baldur's Gate series, Arcanum, Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale series, Vampire: The Masquerade... Not games packed with explosions and top-notch graphics, but games packed to the brim with stories that draw you in for endless hours.
I usually play The Sims, COD: MW3 (squads), COD: Ghosts (multiplayer, love how you can feel like you are playing online when you aren't), or Zoo Tycoon, RollerCoaster Tycoon and those types of games. OH! Don't forget my collection of like 20 N64 games.
