I would join in anything that fits my char, is not (only) typical bar RP and does not block my char out of other scenes for a long time.
Some ideas could be:
* A crime gets committed at the club and Asmod calls people to help solve it before Illums shut down his place.
* There is new magical drug around and rumors are you can get it at the S&S. Some players will investigate to get a shot, others to find the offenders, some because they want to research the drug ....
* There is a new group of patrons Asmod wants to get rid off but they did not to anything bad so he can't just throw them out. Players needed to find reasons.
These all are just quick ideas that came to my mind and I did not really think them through. But what it boils down to is, using the club as starting point for investigations / plots or as back drop.

- CoV contacts you about a rumor that the Phoenicians are using the club as a drop point for trafficking artifacts. They're not after you, but there is news that the next item they're trying to move could be dangerous. Thing is, they can't tell you who is carrying it or what it is.
