[RP:1a] Rosie's Diner

Lu entered the diner in a clatter of cookware, seemed embarrassed by her own commotion and set the pots and bags down at the nearest empty table as quietly as possible. She gazed upon her purchases proudly.. She showed off her new MJ look, would have been the height of fashion in ‘84. She imagined that the jacket had a history, given to a local child by some well meaning city relative or bought with precious Christmas cash in Cumberland to make it’s owner the hippest kid in town. Used lightly, must have been a teen, not a young but big kid, possibly one embarrassed by it’s silly zippers. “Lucky Jacket, make a deal with you. Keep me warm, and I bring you on adventures.” Eventually it was outgrown, swapped to the owner of the General Store for something necessary. A better use than most strange zipper decorated red poofy jackets. Honorable and in service. The Dragon within Yammer stirred, pleased that the koans might be finally penetrating that noisy head.

“Where’d they go?”

((Lu is gonna stick to the larget part of the herd, so consider her collected))

(( I figured we should gather... somewhere... first. No running off into the wilderness alone and all that. ))

((Gathering can happen off screen - I just wanted to know who was going or not.))

Lu took a few minutes packing what she could into her backpack, making it heavy as Hell but leaving her hands free to some degree, she'd have to drop the pots if she lost her balance while running. Just pick em up again if need be. Drop em and beat whatever was after them into a pulp. Where was Matt, she wondered. She put the cookies gently on top nestled in her flexible cutting board to keep them from becoming crumbs. She knew it was a crap job, but she appreciated the baggers at HEB grocery, who were reasonably good about not putting the watermelon on top of the chips.
