Heya folks,

So, it's been a little while, so you know what that means! MORE RP SYSTEMS. Don't worry, I didn't go hog-wild this time. Instead, I came up some mods to stack onto FATE from my experience running previously for this community. The essential idea is to make the game run with as little player interactions with the mechanics as possible. I find that when running FATE, especially online, the biggest hang-up people run into is trying to parse the mechanics or the "meta" of the game. I find that a lot of the time, FATE works best when the player's aren't worried about the mechanics, and the GM is using the mechanics as a syntax to parse the player's actions into outcomes.

When you talk about rolling the FUDGE dice and getting 1,2 or 3+ is that a total after adding to characters skill level or just the result of the dice?
