On topic I should probably also say me personally I have no problem with having differences from the game's lore sometimes if it makes a better story It's more about trying to work out what the game lore actually is so there's at least a starting point, I like these kind of conversations that's why I want to hear both sides and figure things out so that things can be worked out, if I didn't care I wouldn't reply basically

I am happy to answer any questions and address concerns, but as Collapsible said lets try and act a bit more courteous to one another. No need to get upset about fictional matters or ideas. Back on the subject at hand, I actually had another curiosity as I delved into the lore, I was wondering if anyone knows. Is there any lore that specifically talks about Bingo soda? Any evidence of similar effects happening outside of Tokyo? I think I remember it being hinted at that the filth acts the way it does because of some sort of ingredient in the soda, but then I started thinking. In some of the newer quests, John seemed like a real big fan of the brand before he became the filth entity he is now. Do you think maybe the only reason the filth is attracted to it is because John really liked it before the bomb? Any thoughts on the subject?

One really interesting thing is that there's a side mission in the Orochi projects talking about a Bingo Project, it'll be interesting to see how that ties in with Zagan

Yeah, that makes sense too, because I don't think Orochi owns Bingo, because they have Zagan cola, so it might make sense they would be studying why it makes the filth do what it does, where as Nick is just trying to make something that will help now, based off what he does know., and figure out the exact method and reason why it works later. Which is just another excuse his invention might not work all the time, due to not knowing exactly what it is about bingo cola that makes it work.

Oh by the way I added in a youtube video earlier on the first page, basically it doesn't seem to attract the moving ones but does make the vines grow bigger to get at it

Well, that's the thing. Don't the flappies jack an entire bingo cola machine? Seems like an odd thing to do without some personal fondness for the stuff.

And since we've seen ambulatory filth can grow freely out of liquid filth, and (rather violently) vice versa, why would ambulatory be less attracted to it?

Yeah true I forgot they stole that machine, that is an interesting actually, maybe it's how they helped the filth pile grow so big there as well, hmm...

Though they seem more passively interested in it than growing bigger towards it like the static tentaclestuff does, I'd figure that the infected near the bingo machine in that youtube video on page 1 probably were in the same kind of thinking; "guard/hoard the bingo" but not so obsessed by it that they'll go for it over things to infect it seems like
